Payments Via Wire Transfer Now Available For Google Adsense Publishers In India

Google posted following on its forum:

This information only applies to publishers who receive payments at a payment address in India.  These instructions do not apply to publishers in other countries.  If your payment address is located outside of India and you apply a “self hold” per these instructions, it could result in a delay in your payment.  We are working to make wire transfer payments broadly available in most countries, but the process differs in other locations.

Hello AdSense publishers in India!

We’re excited to let you know that we’ll soon be improving the payments process in India and use a faster, more reliable, and secure alternative to cheque payments.  As part of upgrading your account to our new payments system, we are replacing cheque payments with U.S. Dollar international wire transfers.  We think you’ll find this to be a major improvement over cheque payments, and we welcome your feedback to let us know how this changes your payment experience.  Publishers participating in our recent wire transfer beta testing report minimal fees (typically Rs. 56/- to Rs. 110/-, approximately $0.90 to $1.78) and favorable exchange rates on these transactions.  You’ll benefit from receiving these payments in your bank account automatically, saving you from a trip to the bank.

I’d like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to opt-in to wire transfer payments for the upcoming March scheduled payment.  If you would like to receive this update on your account now, apply a “self-hold” to your payments.  You can find this feature within the “payment settings” options.  Over the coming weeks, we’ll be upgrading accounts in India with a payment self-hold to our new payments system.  To be eligible for this month’s payment cycle, please make this preference change prior to Sunday, 16 March, 06:00 (AM) IST.

After this upgrade, you’ll need to provide wire transfer instructions for your bank account so that we can send your future payments.  Be sure to obtain your bank’s specific wire transfer instructions for receiving U.S. Dollar wire transfers from abroad.  While you may be able to find information such as your bank’s SWIFT code from an Internet search or members of the forum community, we strongly recommend only using instructions that you receive directly from your bank’s web site or agent as incorrect information could delay your payments.  Unlike our old payments system, there is no strict monthly deadline for updating your payment details, so you’ll have plenty of time to complete this step.

We want you to receive the most value possible from your AdSense payments.  Google pays most fees involved with sending payments by wire transfer and does not charge a fee for this service.  Your bank will perform the U.S. Dollar to Indian Rupee currency exchange according to their policies, and it will typically assess a small fee covering the mandatory Service Tax required for currency conversion transactions. We recommend that you check your bank's fee schedule to understand how it applies fees for receiving foreign wire transfers. We cannot recommend or endorse specific banks, but we suggest sharing wire transfer experiences within the publisher forum community.  Sharing the name of the bank you use, fees assessed, and exchange rates received are OK.  For your security, please do not post personal details about your bank account, payment amounts, transaction numbers, or other identifying info.

We ask that you continue to receive and deposit any outstanding cheque payments, if applicable. Normal 60-day cheque cancellation waiting period policies will apply.

We hope to make wire transfer payments fully available to all publishers in India soon.  Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to improve our payment processes in India and worldwide.

You can find additional information about setting up wire transfer payments in our Help Center.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: How long will it take for my wire transfer payment to arrive in my bank account?

Answer: It may require 3-5 or more business days from the date when our bank informs us that it accepted the payment before the funds to appear in your bank account.

Question: My bank’s instructions show that I need to provide an intermediary bank, but the form within AdSense shows this as being optional.  What should I provide?

Answer: Our bank has the ability to look up the current intermediary information that is needed to properly route most payments and recommends that you leave these fields empty.

We’ll try to answer other wire transfer questions you have here.  The payments team is located at our U.S. headquarters in Mountain View, California, so there may be a delay in responses due to time differences.

Adding Google Adsense Ads Into MobilePress

In past, I wrote an article about creating a mobile version of your WordPress site with MobilePress plugin. You can also earn some money with your MobilePress site by using Google Adsense or other mobile advertisement platforms, but lots of users get confused about how to add their advert code into their MobilePress template.

To be honest, it's pretty simple, but still not for first time. I'm also using Adsense on my site's mobile version at this link. Adsense mobile ads are only visible from mobile phones, not on your computer. Let's get started...

Create Adsense Mobile Ads Unit:

Your default Adsense ads are not perfect for your MobilePress powered site. You must create a mobile ads unit on your Adsense account. It's pretty simple...

  • 1. Login to your Adsense account > Click on My Ads tab
  • 2. Now in My Ads tab, click on Mobile content tab
  • 3. Now clck on New ad unit button

  • 4. Fill the following form with your ad preference and click on Save and get code:

  • 5. Copy your mobile ad code, and paste it into a blank notepad document

  • 6. Paste generated ad code into a notepad document and name it adsense.php
  • 7. Select All Files as file type
  • 8. Click on Save button to save adsense.php

The same thing goes for inmobi, buzzcity, admob and others, just copy the code to a notepad and save. Now we'll add this adsense.php file into your MobilePress theme.

Adding Ads Into MobilePress Theme:

Now you need to visit your ftp client or file manager. I'm using GoDaddy, and here is a preview of my file manager:

  • Upload this to public_html or webroot (based on your file manager)
  • Go to /public_html/wp-content/plugins/mobilepress/system/themes/default or /public_html/wp-content/mobilepress/themes/themename for custom theme.
  • Now if you want to place an advert at the top, you’ll have to edit header.php and insert the ad where you want it to display with following php:

<div class="aduity"><?php include('adsense.php'); ?></div>

  • If you need to show the ad unit at the footer, edit footer.php and paste that same code on the very first line or your preferred position..

That's it guys. Same work goes for all other mobile advert platforms. Don't ad more than three Adsense ads in your site. If you need any help, then don't forget to leave a comment.

Google Adsense is a perfect way to earn thousands of dollars with your website and blogs. Every big company is using this service to earn some large amounts from their website. Adsense pays you for loyal and fair clicks on their ads not for spams and cheats.

Many new bloggers get approved for Adsense but because they think it's a money machine they try to cheat it and soon they get banned from it. In this post, I'am sharing 15 tips with you to avoid your Adsense from a permanent ban so read them carefully :

  1. Never use Pay-To-Click websites on your blog/site because Adsense doesn't allow you PTC click services.
  2. Don't hide Adsense ads under your site's menu , slider or between images because it will approach visitors to click on ads accidentally and you'll be get ban.
  3. Don't ask peoples to click on ads and don't even try to ask peoples on social networks like Facebook and Twitter because Adsense will detect it and it'll be not so good for you.
  4. Your blog or website must  have at least 70% search or organic traffic. If your website traffic is mainly coming from social networks  like Facebook then there is a chance that Google will deactivate your account. You can use Google Analytics to know more about your site's traffic.
  5. Publish unique content on your site because Adsense doesn't allow cheaters to copy and paste content from different sites. If you're doing then make sure to change article in your words.
  6. Never ever put Google Adsense ads on your  empty pages, contact pages or related like About me, Privacy Policy , Contact us, Form filling etc. Because Google advertisers pays you for ads on your content not on your Policy and all.
  7. All ways choose good quality key words for your blog/site and try to avoid keywords related to Hacking or Drugs.
  8. Never try cloakling  or any other black hat Search Engine Optimization.Black Hat SEO works fast but Google will  mark your website as spam.
  9. Never exchange links with other websites mainly which are  non related website.
  10. Adult content is not allowed by Adsense so don't post pornography and don't ever iFrame pornography sites.
  11. Adsense is all you need so don't use any low-quality advert site with Adsense on your blog. Such as ClickSor and Bitvertiser..
  12. Don't write text which approach your visitors to click on ads.
  13. Never try to edit Adsense ads code or place it in fixed position.
  14. Adsense hates spam and all site related to it so don't put site links related to spam and all.
  15. Pop-Ups are annoying also Adsense hates them so don't put any pop-ups on your site to provide good quality content.

Create A Privacy Policy For Your Blog

As Google have changed the Terms and Conditions of their Adsense program, one of the requirements now is that all Adsense publishers should have a "Privacy Policy" on their websites.

You must have and abide by an appropriate privacy policy that clearly discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your user’s browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on your website. Your privacy policy should also include information about user options for cookie management.

You can read more about the DoubleClick DART Cookie on the following link ... https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=100557&sourceid=aso

How To Get Your Google Adsense Account Unbanned

This post will be about how to get your Google Adsense Account unbanned! First off, let my start by saying that if your Google Adsense Account was banned because you violated the Google Adsense Terms Of Service (TOS), your up the proverbial creek without a paddle. Chances are you’ll not get your Adsense account unbanned. However, if you feel the Google Adsense gang unfairly banned your account, here are 5 simple steps to follow that may help you get it unbanned. (this means you have read the Adsense TOS and have determined without a doubt you did not violate their terms)Remember, most bans come from an automated machine. Something went wrong and it caused a Red flag to pop up at G Headquarters.

Your goal now is to to have a human review it.Try and determine why your account was banned. This is important because you need to know what happened before you can gather evidence. Google will not always tell you and many times they’ll tell you it’s because of “Invalid Clicks” which can mean anything under the moon. I’ve heard of accounts being banned because of a sudden increase in clicks due to a site hitting the front page of Digg and because a previous owner of a domain had his Adsense account banned.Contact the Google Adsense team and be nice about it. If you’re email starts with “You Jerks at Google Banned My Account For No Good Reason,” then you’ll not likely get it unbanned before Hell freezes over. Your emails should be very nice and non-judgemental. Assume it was an honest mistake by Google, because it may very well have been.Provide Proof Of Your Innocence. If you have a good idea of why your Adsense was banned, offer to give it to Google. This could be everything from server logs, a letter from the webhost or a WhoIs file. Be nice and politely show Google where they went wrong.Have some patience. The folks at Adsense won’t be tripping over their self to get to your case. I’d be sending follow up emails every other day or so and checking on the status of the human review. Remember to keep them nice and polite. You may also want to keep offering to give them evidence. Try and show you really want to help in the investigation.Persistence pays off.

If you give up only after an email or two, then chances are you may never hear from them again. Stay with the follow up emails! Eventually they’ll get tired of you and either give you a Yea or Nay. Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the oil! There is no guarantee that these tips will help. But if you’re going to fight to get your account reinstated, this is the way to begin.I can’t stress this enough, read the damn Adsense TOS before you cry about getting banned. After you get your account banned is not the time to familiarize yourself with the Google Adsense TOS.You’ll be surprised at the type of things you account can be banned for. I’m always amazed at people in the forums who’ve had their account banned because of something they did that was against the TOS. Then they proceed to tell everyone they “didn’t know.”And if you can’t get you Adsense account unbanned, you can always use one of your other Adsense accounts…right?
